Still floating from the magic of this weekend...

This Memorial Day weekend, I had the absolute joy of photographing one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever been part of—set against the breathtaking backdrop of Old Forge, New York.

Nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, Old Forge is known for its peaceful lakes, charming mountain views, and a kind of quiet magic that made it the perfect setting for a heartfelt, intimate wedding celebration. And this one? It was pure soul.

From the moment I arrived, there was something special in the air. The bride’s calm glow, the way the groom held her hand during the vows, the golden light filtering through the trees during portraits—every detail felt intentional and filled with love.

But what made this wedding truly unforgettable wasn’t just the setting or the style (though the floral details, soft color palette, and lakefront views were stunning). It was the presence—the deep, grounded love between two people who chose each other, fully and completely.

As a wedding photographer based in Upstate New York, I’m always inspired by how each couple writes their own story. And this Memorial Day wedding in Old Forge reminded me of why I do what I do: to capture the quiet, powerful moments that make your love story one-of-a-kind.
