As a life coach, you learn quickly that transformation doesn’t come from massive, dramatic changes.

It comes from small, consistent inputs that quietly reshape how we think, feel, and show up in the world.

Our brains are constantly scanning our environment for cues. Color, texture, shape, light. These details are not random. They influence our nervous system, our emotions, and our sense of safety and comfort.

Yes, our brains also look for comfort in familiar faces we enjoy looking at. That might be Channing Tatum for some, or 50 Cent for others. Eye candy counts. And there’s a reason for that too.

Comfort regulates the nervous system.

Regulation improves mood.

Mood directly affects how we move through the world.

And how we move through the world affects others.

Your Mind Leads Your Mood, and Your Mood Leads Your Life

What you focus on expands. This isn’t just motivational language. It’s neuroscience.

Your thoughts influence your emotional state.

Your emotional state shapes your behavior.

Your behavior creates your results.

When we consciously focus on positive, grounding stimuli, we naturally begin to output more positive energy into the world. That energy doesn’t disappear. It returns.

This is what I call the Rubber Band Theory. Whatever you pull your focus toward eventually snaps back to you. What you think about shapes who you become, and who you become determines what and who you attract.

The Color Project: A Simple Experiment with Powerful Results

Starting February 1st, the Lunara Ambassadors and I are beginning a simple but intentional exercise.

Each ambassador has chosen one color. Their assignment is to post a photo in the group where that color is the primary focus. Not perfection. Not performance. Just awareness.

Throughout the month, they’ll pay attention to how that color shows up in their environment, their mood, their thoughts, and their daily life. At the end of the month, we’ll complete a chromatic portrait session inspired entirely by their chosen color.

They’ll also reflect on what they learned from the experience. Not just visually, but emotionally and mentally.

Because awareness changes everything.

An Invitation for You

I encourage all of you to participate as well.

Pick a color.

Notice it.

Photograph it.

Share it.

Be active in the group. Play along. Observe what shifts.

This isn’t about art alone. It’s about rewiring the brain to notice what feels good, grounding, and supportive. When you train your mind to look for the good, it becomes easier to live from that place.

We begin February 1st.

Let’s start choosing intention over autopilot.

Let’s start creating environments that support who we’re becoming.
